Please Take a Moment to Voice Support for the Mt. Hope Mine

  • The BLM's publication of the Mt. Hope project's Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) is one of General Moly's most significant permitting accomplishments in the last five years.  It is a very thorough document that represents an assessment of our project by scientists, engineers and other experts.
  • We encourage everyone who supports the Mt. Hope project to submit your comments to the BLM during the public comment period, which ends March 1, 2012.  There are several ways to submit comments:

    • Pre-drafted, internet-based comments are available at the Northwest Mining Association's website by Clicking Here.  You can simply add your name and submit the pre-written comment, or better yet, personalize the letter and then submit it electronically.

General Moly operates two world-class molybdenum projects located in central Nevada.  The Mt. Hope project is the Company’s flagship project, containing approximately 1.3 billion pounds of proven and probable molybdenum reserves.  The Liberty project is the Company’s second project, containing over 700 million pounds of moly and nearly 900 million pounds of copper in NI 43-101 compliant mineral reserves and provides the Company with a significant growth profile.  When both projects reach production, General Moly anticipates becoming the largest pure-play primary moly producer in the world.
