Bruce D. Hansen, Chief Executive Officer

Bruce D. Hansen has been Chief Executive Officer and a Director since January 2007 and assumed the additional role of Chief Financial Officer, effective May 2017. He was previously Senior Vice President, Operations Services and Development, at Newmont Mining Corporation, where he served for 10 years. His management roles at Newmont included serving as Chief Financial Officer for six years and as Vice President of Project Development. Prior to Newmont, Mr. Hansen was Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Santa Fe Pacific Gold Corporation. He is a member of the Board of Directors for ASA Gold and Precious Metals Limited, a closed-end investment fund and one of the oldest investment management firms focused on precious metals and mining companies, and Energy Fuels Inc., a U.S.-based integrated producer of uranium traded on the NYSE American. Mr. Hansen has a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of New Mexico.

Robert Pennington, Chief Operating Officer

Robert Pennington joined General Moly in October 2007 as Vice President of Engineering and Construction and became Chief Operating Officer in January 2012, overseeing the Mt. Hope and Liberty projects’ permitting and development. Mr. Pennington previously served as Chief Operating Officer of M3 Engineering & Technology (M3) in Tucson, Arizona. Prior to that, Mr. Pennington has 34 years of metal mine operations and project management experience, including 24 years in management of mine and plant operations. He previously served as President at the Phelps Dodge Tyrone mine and General Manager at the Phelps Dodge Morenci mine. Mr. Pennington’s project experience dates back to 1982 with the construction and startup of the Kennecott Chino concentrator. As an M3 project manager, he was responsible for the design, construction, and startup of the Chino SXEW plant, the Phelps Dodge Candelaria operation in Chile, the Piedras Verdes SXEW operation in Mexico, and other projects. Mr. Pennington has extensive experience in base metal operations and design, and molybdenum processing. He has a Bachelor of Science from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.

Scott Roswell, Chief Legal Officer

Scott Roswell joined General Moly in September 2010 as Corporate Counsel and Vice President of Human Resources and became Chief Legal Officer in October 2015. Mr. Roswell previously served as General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Law and Human Resources at Flatiron Financial Services Inc., a Denver-based loan servicing firm. In addition to managing the legal department, he also managed a range of human resource functions, including recruitment, hiring, and benefit program design and implementation. Mr. Roswell previously was in-house counsel for Qwest and its predecessor company, US West, where he practiced in the Risk Management group, for 10 years. Prior to that, Scott was an associate for the Denver law firm Hall and Evans. Mr. Roswell graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Business) from the University of Colorado and with a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver.

Patrick Rogers, Vice President, Permitting and Environmental Compliance

Patrick Rogers joined General Moly in 2007, as Vice President, Permitting and Environmental Compliance, leading the Company’s permitting, land management, water rights, environmental programs, and compliance for the Mt. Hope and Liberty projects. He also provides corporate level communications throughout local, state and federal channels. Mr. Rogers has many years of environmental, permitting and regulatory compliance experience in mining and mill operations, primarily in Nevada. Previous roles include building a successful consultancy as Elko Division Manager of JBR Environmental Consultants and serving as Environmental Manager at Newmont Mining Corporation. He is a Certified Environmental Manager (Nevada) and Registered Professional Geologist (Idaho). Mr. Rogers earned a master’s and Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Idaho.

Amanda Corrion, Principal Accounting Officer

Amanda Corrion was appointed the Company’s Principal Accounting Officer in May 2017. She previously served as the Company’s Controller since March 2016 and was Assistant Controller from March 2013 to March 2016. She joined General Moly in August 2008 as a Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Corrion spent five years as an Associate and Senior Associate in the audit practice at KPMG. She received her Colorado CPA license in 2009 and holds a Chartered Global Management Accountant certification with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Ms. Corrion graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Business Administration with emphases in accounting and finance.

Michael K. Branstetter,Secretary and General Counsel

Michael Branstetter has been the Secretary since November 1992, and also serves as the General Counsel, facilitating Board of Directors matters. Mr. Branstetter is the principal of Hull & Branstetter Chartered, a law firm in Idaho. He previously served as Treasurer from 1992 until 2007.
